Sometimes 4th and fith graders are more advanced in their Respective Studies than their parents. I would favor Parent Curriculum in Public Schools that would mirror their Child's Grade Level Studies. This Concept would not only keep parents abreast and current with Changing Academia, but would be helpful in The Work Place and Society as a whole. Also, more emphasis should be placed on Fine Arts, and in particular, Music. Through Music, other displines are realized to include Math, Sciences, and Foreign Lanquages. This would give The student a more well rounded education, and allow for a more expansive pursuit of knowledge. These Elected Positions sometimes serves as a Local Platforms for Political posturing, rather than The Engine that Educate Our Children. There are many disparities in Our Efforts to Educating Our Youth, but I believe that it starts with a Competent Board of Trustees, and dedicated Administrators, Faculty, and Staff. It first starts with the mindset of our community. We are not aware of what we should be receiving in the form of education, therefore the substandard curriculum we are receiving is perceived as the norm. Once we step out of our comfort zone and interract with others who have attended more suitable schools we soon realize how we have been deprived. Not trying to be racist but the white man has installed higher learning as an expected accomplishment in their life, but blacks are struggling to get their kids to simply finish high school.
